Fabio Quaglino

Fabio Quaglino hold a Ph.D. in Plant Biology and Crop Production at University of Milan, Italy, in 2006. He worked as visiting scientist at Molecular Plant Pathology Laboratory (MPPL), ARS-USDA, Beltsville, MD, from 2006 to 2008. Since March 2011, he is permanent researcher at DiSAA, University of Milan. He has over 10 years of teaching and research experience in Plant Pathology and Protection at UNIMI. His research focuses on ecology and epidemiology of phytoplasmas, based on molecular biology analyses, and control of the associated diseases, with particular interest on grapevine yellows and stone fruit diseases. He is member of the International Phytoplasmologists Working Group (IPWG). He authored more than 180 scientific papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and congresses proceedings. He was involved in research projects funded by European Union, Italian Cooperation for ROSS Project, and Italian Ministry of University and Research.
