Laura Bellia

Laura Bellia, MSc, PhD is full professor of Lighting and Building Physics. Her research’s interests include electric lighting, daylighting, smart lighting systems and automatic controls, non-visual effects of lighting, light pollution. She led national research programs about indoor lighting quality and daylight harvesting and participates to international research programs. Currently she acts as technical-scientific manager in the Italian Lighting Association (AIDI). She is member of the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) of North America. She is scientific manager of the Italian National Committee of the CIE (Commissione Internationale de l’Eclairage) and Official Member of the CIE Division 6 “Photobiology and Photochemistry” for the evaluation of the effects of optical radiation on biological and photochemical systems and also dealing with subjects as lighting for horticulture.
