Domenico Bosco

Full Professor of Agricultural Entomology at the University of Torino (Italy). In 1992 he received a PhD in Agricultural Entomology at the University of Bologna (Italy). From 1994 he is Assistant, then Associate and, from 2019, Full Professor at the University of Torino, Department of Agriculture, Forest and Food Sciences. He is Research Associate at the Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection, Italian National Research Council (CNR). Visiting Professor (Fulbright Scholar) at the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management of the University of California, Berkeley (2007) and at the UMR Biologie du Fruit et Pathologie INRA & Université de Bordeaux (2016). His main research interest is represented by insect vectors of plant pathogens and, namely, the relationships they establish with plant pathogens. He is member of the Accademia Italiana di Entomologia, Società Entomologica Italiana and American Entomological Society. He is Coordinator of the PhD in Agriculture, Forest and Food Sciences of the University of Torino.
