Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, summa cum laude, in 1997. In 2001, obtained her Ph.D. in Animal Production. She has been researcher since 2005 and associate professor since 2017 at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, University of Napoli Federico II. Since September 2008 she participates in the Supervisory Committee of the PhD course in “Poultry production” in collaboration with the Department of Animal Production of the Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University, Egypt. Since 2018 she is Director of the post-graduation advanced course in “Edible insects production” at University of Napoli Federico II.
She is Section Editor of Italian Journal of Animal Science a Taylor & Francis open access journal (Rank Q1) and guest editor for Animals (MDPI, Rank Q1) of the Topical Collections (permanent special issues) “Feeding Strategies to Improve Sustainability and Welfare in Animal Production” (permanent special issue) and “Poultry Nutrition and Metabolism”.
