Dipartimento di Biologia

Researcher at Department of Biology (University of Naples “Federico II”). In 1994 she received the PhD in “Evolutionary Biology and Differentiation”. The research concerns the Developmental Biology, particularly gametogenesis and embryogenesis of a team of lower vertebrates such as amphibians, fish and reptiles, recently invertebrates. These studies have some main lines:
A. cytoskeletal elements and their interactions
B. molecules involved in the fertilization process.
C. proteins involved in the regulation of protein synthesis, in cell proliferation and apoptosis.
D. effects of nanomaterials and toxicants during embryogenesis
E. study of antibacterial peptides and biofilm
