Silvia Celletti

Department of Life Sciences

Researcher in Agricultural Chemistry (AGR/13) at the Department of Life Sciences (DSV), University of Siena. In 2016, she received her PhD in Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Tuscia. She worked as a Research Fellow at the Free University of Bolzano from 2017 to 2021. She is a member of the Study Committee of the Italian Society of Agricultural Chemistry (SICA) and Scientific Responsible of the Joint “BioAgry Lab” at the University of Siena. Currently, her research topic focuses on the study of biofertilizers based on biochar and wood distillate in viticulture and the effects of bioplastics on the plant/soil system. She has experience in the study of plant responses to nutrient deficiencies and in the evaluation of the solid and liquid fraction from the hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) process on the growth of different plants in soilless growing systems.
