Nunzio D’Agostino

Associate Professor of Bioinformatics and Genomics (sector E5/02 – Molecular Biology) at the Dept. of Agricultural Sciences, University of Naples Federico II (UniNa). In 2002 he graduated in Biological Sciences at University of Siena. In 2003 he received the Master’s certificate in Bioinformatics at the University of Sannio and in 2008 a PhD in “Agrobiology and Agrochemistry: genetic improvement and horticulture” at UniNa. From 2010 to 2018 he was a researcher at CREA Research Centre for Vegetable and Ornamental Crops. In 2012, he was a visiting scientist at the Dept. of Molecular Plant Physiology, Radboud University, Nijmegen (NL). From December 2018 to November 2021, he was an Assistant Professor at UniNa. His scientific interest is focused on the analysis of sequence data and the development of strategies, methods, and tools for the management of “omics” data. He is member of the Editorial Board of Frontiers in Genetics, Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Plant Science.
