Associate Professor of Cytology and Comparative Anatomy at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). 2001: PhD in Molecular Systematics (April); Master in Biotechnology (September). 2004: Winner of the “Young Histochemist Award” promoted by the International Federation Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry (IFSHC). Member of the Italian Society of Histochemistry and of the Italian Embryological Group. Member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Emerging Contaminants section. From 2011 to today she is a member of the National Institute of Biostructures and Biosystems. For about ten years the main line of research has been to investigate the effects of endocrine disruptors on the functionality of different hormonal systems using experimental models in vivo and in vitro.
