Rocco Di Girolamo

Department of Chemical Sciences

Rocco Di Girolamo is assistant professor of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). He graduated in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Naples in 2007 and got the PhD in Chemistry in 2010 from the same university. His main research interests are synthesis and characterization of block copolymers and study of the relationships between the molecular structure and the physical properties of crystalline polymers. In 2017 he was awarded the Newcomb Cleveland Prize by AAAS for the best paper published in Science.
The results of his research activity are reported on more than 80 papers. He is member of “Società Chimica Italiana” (SCI) and “Associazione Italiana di Scienza e Tecnologia delle Macromolecole” (AIM).
