Associate Professor at Department of Agricultural, Food and Forest Sciences University of Palermo with National scientific qualification to full professor in Italian Universities (07/D1 Plant Pathology and Entomology). PhD in Agricultural Entomology at the University of Napoli “Federico II” (1999). Teaching: Viticultural Entomology and Acarology, Product Entomology, Pest Control for the Foodservice Industry – University of Palermo. Principal Investigator of the European project “Impact of invasive alien true bug species in native trophic webs” (INVASIoN), H2020-MSCA- RISE-2015. His research interests include: Biology and behavioural ecology of hymenopteran parasitoids; semiochemical interactions in plant-herbivorous insect-parasitoid systems; biology and behavioural ecology of stored product pests, biological control of insect pest.
