Dr. Pinto has held the role of RTD-A (CHIM-01) since July 2019 at the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II. For two years she got a contract as a Review Editor with Elsevier Inc. (the “Publisher”) for the review process within the Food Sustainability, Security and effects of Global change area, included in a section entitled REFERENCE MODULE IN FOOD SCIENCE.
She carried out research for several years at University College London (UCL) within the Proteomics & Molecular Cell Dynamics group led by Prof. Jasminka Godovac-Zimmermann first as guest researcher and then as Research Associate. She won three scholarships in three different institutes, the National Institute of Biostructures and Biosystems (I. N. B. B., ROME, Lazio), at the Department of Chemical Sciences and at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples “Federico II”.
She holds two PhD degrees in Agri-Food Sciences and Technologies and in Biotechnological Sciences, both at the University of Naples “Federico II”. Dr Pinto is a member of the Italian Chemical Society and has taken part to national and international conferences and participated as an organizational staff of two international conferences.
