Comparative Anatomy and Cytology Researcher at the University of Naples (Italy), in 2014 he received a PhD in Advanced Biology at the University of Naples. In 2016 he has awarded the prize by Italian Society for Microscopical Sciences. In 2017 he was awarded the “Mariolina Capano” prize by the National Society of Sciences, Letters and Arts in Naples, for studies on reproduction control mechanisms. In 2018 he was awarded a Grant for young researchers at the 64th GEI Conference (Italian Embryological Group). Since 2019 he is the member of editorial board of the scientific journal “Veterinary Science Research”. The main research interests are 1) the role of local factors (neuropeptides and steroidogenesis enzymes) in spermatogenesis control in the vertebrates 2) the use of vitellogenin as a biomarker of environmental pollution in aquatic organism 3) study of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in the reptile Podarcis sicula.
