Irene Russo Krauss

Department of Chemical Sciences

Research associate of Physical Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). She received a PhD in Chemical Sciences – Physical Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II in 2010. From 2011 to 2014 she worked as a Post-Doc on structural characterization of proteins, nucleic acids and their complexes by means of X-ray crystallography and spectroscopic techniques researcher; in 2012 she was visiting researcher at the University College of London; from 2014 to 2015 she worked as a Post-Doc on the characterization of the aggregation processes of hydrophobically modified polyacrylates. Starting from 2015, first as a Post-Doc (from 2015 to 2016) then as a young research associate (RTD-A) (from 2016 to 2019) her main research topics are the characterization of nanosystems (metal and metal oxide nanoparticles, liposomes, polymers) for biomedical applications and of interactions between nano
