Davide Spadaro

Full Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Torino. He collaborates with AGROINNOVA. Secretary of the SM Committee Postharvest of the International Society of Plant Pathology. Member of the Accademia di Agricoltura di Torino. Previously: visiting Professor at University of Edinburgh (UK) and Thammasat University (Thailand). Visiting scientist at University of Lleida (Spain) and University of Bonn (Germany). His research spans from biology of plant pathogens, to sustainable crop protection, from food safety (mycotoxins) to food security (postharvest losses), from plant pathogen diagnostics to plant-pathogen interactions. He worked on several national and European projects (Horizon 2020, FP7, COST Action, PRIMA, LIFE+, EIT-Food, Tempus, Interreg IIIC, Asia-Link, EFSA). Scientific committee, session chair and invited speaker at several international congresses. Author of 14 book chapters and 4 patents. Scopus: 134 documents, over 3,900 citations, H-index 32.
