Francesco Vinale is author of 4 patents and over 100 articles published on scientific journals, book chapters, abstracts and proceedings of national and international congresses. Is member of the editorial board of “BMC Plant Biology” and “Frontiers in Microbiology”. Is involved in several research projects financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research and the European Union and collaborates with various companies. Research interests: purification and characterization of bioactive microbial metabolites; study of the role of microbial secondary metabolites in complex plant/antagonist/pathogen interactions; metabolomic; application of beneficial microorganisms and / or their metabolites.
Researcher at Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection (IPSP) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Since 2019 is Assistant professor of “Plant Pathology and Phytoiatry” at University of Naples Federico II.
